EyesOpenApp app for iPhone and iPad

The purpose for EyesOpen the safety and security of the user.

After the user agrees to the legal warning, EyesOpen opens a new window that presents a live feed of the camera. When the user swipes up from the bottom of the screen, a floating Picture in Picture window is present as an overlay on all home screens and apps. 

This window allows the user to monitor what is happening through the camera (ie their surroundings) while attending to other apps. Essentially, it is a window to the world around the user, so they can safely use the phone while still monitoring everything that is happening. EyesOpen is to be used while the user is stationary and is not to be used while walking, operating a vehicle or any other motion that could jeopardize their safety. The purpose of the app is to help and protect the user from a situation where they could put themselves in harm.

The app opens in regular mode. There is a white overlay over camera feed on the main screen and an upgrade to full version button. This button triggers a paywall window that prompts to user to either upgrade or do a free trial.

The Cross in the lower right corner is a drop down for instructions and an exit button.

Swiping up from bottom starts the pip window. This window will stay on top of all open applications and will remain live unless another app is using the camera (the camera app for example will freeze the image on the pip window when it is active)

If the user tries a free trial, then a timer will start at 10 minutes and the white overlay will be removed on the main screen and pip window, giving an unobstructed view. After 10 minutes (or closing the main window) the free trial count will go down by 1, until all 3 free trials are used.

If the user decides to upgrade, they can do so on the paywall. After completing the information to upgrade by entering their user name and password, and closing the paywall (or reopening the app from the Agreement page, if time has elapsed) the user will have unrestricted access, no overlay, upgrade now button or timer.
